How long will my order take to ship?

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days after payment clears. Delivery times vary by destination:

  • Australia: 2–7 business days
  • International: 7–14 business days

    Customs clearance may extend delivery times for international orders.

Shipping Policy

How is my order packaged?

All antiquities and collectibles are packed using gloves and are placed in archival-safe packaging and fully insured. All items include:

  • Protective inner wrapping
  • Custom-fitted boxes or crates
  • Signature-on-delivery
Will I receive tracking information?

Yes! You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is shipped, so you can follow your parcel’s journey.

Who is responsible for customs duties or taxes?

International buyers are responsible for any import duties, VAT, or customs charges. Please check your local import regulations before ordering.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer flat-rate, fully insured shipping to ensure your artifacts arrive with the absolute best care possible:

  • Domestic Standard (Australia): $50 AUD
  • Domestic Express (Australia): $100 AUD
  • International Shipping: $100 AUD
What if my order is damaged in transit?

Your item is fully insured. If it arrives damaged:

  1. Photograph the packaging and item immediately.
  2. Keep all original packaging.
  3. Contact us within 48 hours to start an insurance claim.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes, private viewings and in-person collection are available in Australia by appointment.

How do you authenticate your items?

Every item we offer is sourced from established, specialist auction houses and dealers with a track record in ancient art. We only purchase pieces that come with documented provenance (named previous collections, auction records and expert catalogues) and that have been professionally described by recognised specialists.

Are your artifacts authentic?

Yes. Every item at Heritage & Provenance is sourced from trusted auction houses, vetted dealers, and private collections. All artifacts are carefully researched, documented, and, where applicable, cleared through the Art Loss Register.

Do your pieces come with provenance?

Absolutely. We provide detailed provenance information with every purchase, including previous ownership history, acquisition source, and expert vetting records.

How old are your artifacts?

Our collection spans thousands of years, featuring Syro-Hittite, Egyptian, Roman, Indus Valley and early human antiquities dating as far back as one million years old Exact creation periods are listed on each product page.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship worldwide using trusted carriers. All artifacts are securely packaged and fully insured. International buyers are responsible for import duties and taxes.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and secure bank transfers. We also accept Cryptocurrency payments with major pairs Bitcoin and Ethereum. For high-value purchases, we recommend bank transfers for added security.
